Head of press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Leyla Abdullayeva has commented on a statement of the Armenian Foreign Ministry regarding the speech of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the UN General Assembly, MFA told APA.
It has been noted that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev clearly brought the failed politics of aggressive country Armenia and its leadership to the attention of the world community with concrete facts in his speech general debates of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly. Armenian Foreign Ministry can not deny realities, sounded by Azerbaijani President, with its little statement.
Currently, Armenia is a country, which is experiencing deep demographic, social, and economic crises and its main reason is the country's conduction an aggressive policy against Azerbaijan. Although there was a regime change in Armenia two years ago, current authority also continues the policy of the previous criminal junta regime. A dictatorship regime has been established in Armenia, where human rights are widely violated, judges are subjected to pressure, opposition activists, and political opponents are arrested. Leadership, which declares it has obtained the mandate of people, is so far from provision of interests of the people.
While the hands of Armenia’s previous President are coated with blood of women, children and elder people killed with merciless cruelty in the crimes committed in the framework of the war waged against Azerbaijan, in especially in Khojaly, there is a stain on the conscience of the present leaders of the blood of the person aged 76 killed in Tovuz region on July 14 of this year.
Lie, falsification, hypocrisy, provocation and finally war crimes – these are the main features characterizing Armenia’s present leaders. The coming up of the MFA of the country led by the person who doesn’t have skills for fulfillment of any one of the promises given by him top his people when coming to power, drawing the country into decline, who has failed as a political leader and head of government with absurd statement about the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan who implements independent and successful policy based on his people’s national interests, has prestige at the global level can only cause a laugh. We understand that Armenia who jealously observes from outside the development, achievements and progress obtained by Azerbaijan, has no other way out than voicing such crazy statements.
Armenia’s present leaders who declare that they came to power based on the mandate given by the people should demonstrate concrete activity instead of being engaged in twaddle in order to pull out those people from the crisis situation, and firstly should give up its territorial claims to neighbor states, put an end to its occupational policy and approach respectfully the international borders of the neighbor states. Otherwise, the Armenian people will remain deprived of development perspectives.
